At WRS, we have over 30 years senior experience of employee relations. We have worked with organisations of all sizes – from FTSE 100 companies to the smallest of businesses.
And through our extensive knowledge of employee representation, we know what policies, procedures and practices work well … and which do not.
With our focus upon promoting and supporting excellent workplace relations, there are three specific types of employee relations services that we provide. All tailored to meeting the needs of SME’s and start-up businesses:
- Producing a suite of employment policies and procedures, designed to meet the specific needs of your business. Or if you prefer, individual policies and documentation required by your business at any specific time. These will incorporate best practice and be sure to meet all legal requirements.
- Managing employee relations casework on your behalf. Including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and other similar matters. By applying our hands-on experience, we can help you avoid exposure to risk of employment tribunal proceedings.
- Conducting credible, independent investigations on your business’ behalf on any types of employment issues and concerns. This could include investigation into claims of discrimination, harassment or other impropriety that may have taken place.
And why is our service so important? Because a simple mistake handling an employment matter could expose your business to time-consuming and potentially very expensive legal troubles. By combining our extensive legal knowledge and practical experience, we can help you successfully navigate through any potential problems. And maintain your goal of achieving commercial success whilst remaining committed to treating your employees fairly.
Because we aim to maintain close ongoing relationships with the businesses we support, our employer services are primarily focused upon supporting SME’s and start-ups in the following counties: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. Nevertheless, we will consider assignments outside of this area.
Our services are provided on a ‘pay when you need it’ basis, rather than asking you to commit to any longer-term contractual arrangements.
